Game Night Server - PLEASE READ
Hello One And All!
Right as you've read in the Game's thread we're looking at getting people together for a good old bit of gaming. But we need to know how interested people are in this since if there's little interest then we will just arrange times for everyone to play together the choose a server to get things running. However if there's a high level of interest then we (see: me) will look at renting a server for the game that wins the poll above. If you have any questions then feel free to PM me, Your Friendly Neighbourhood Mod, Hells *Notes* Please note that the selections in the list above relate to the Admin team securing a server that is dedicated to this game for a period of 2 months or more. If this server becomes well used and frequented by regular people then we will look at expanding and hosting multiple games such as Project Reality or Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Please also note these games are not set in stone. If anyone has other suggestions I'd be welcome to hear them in this thread. Most RTS games unfortunately cannot be centrally hosted so we will most likely create a way for you to arrange games of these with each other. But otherwise fair game!

I voted for Red Orchestra: Ostfront. Of course if some other game wins this poll I have to adapt and buy it.
And I am highly interested in a dedicated server. It would definitely be nice to play with people I know from the forums here.

You're correct i did leave L4D2 out but thats because i don't own it
 Consider it added in spirit.As for an RO server why would it have to be 50 people?

I don't think we have that many people who would actively play and I'd imagine the server cost would triple if we rent so big server. It would be best at first to gather the people here who are interested and then raid some server and play there. If the game nights starts becoming a habit in this community, then a dedicated server would be a wise choice.
But I still think dedicated server sounds interesting. We could even set up a community clan and play some games against other clans.

Well currently we're thinking of arranging a time and finding a server to raid and see how many people turn up. If it becomes a regular thing with a few people interested then we may expand into getting our own server to play on.
I personally play more TF2 at the moment and anyone who is interested in playing with me will generally find me in the steam group so just poke me and join in!
